Buffer is awesome. I have been using it a while, and I have upgraded to premium. Not sure why I have, but I just really enjoy it, and I guess I want to support it. Because I really don't need the premium service :)

Recurring revenue have been the savior of most of the projects that I have build. It helps to get of the ground with some money coming in, enough to get things going for a while.

There are not many lawn care companies in Norway. I actually just know about one in the city where I live. But that's also because the market is not very big. It's way too cold here, and the summer is only about 2 months long!

When it comes to business models, you're right on. I also believe in a big market, scalability, and recurring revenue. I especially think that recurring revenue is important. Because the hardest part of a business is to constantly keep looking for new customers.

I had to revisit, which I do if it's a great article... I don't know why I didn't have Askimet activated sooner (I think I thought I did, but I recently started getting a LOT of spam comments).

I also recommend the Lightbox 2 plugin (if you're going to use thumbnail images linking to full images), Polldaddy Polls (I like it for the post ratings), Flickr-slideshow-wrapper and Custom Smilies.

Hey Jens, just a heads up. I had an issue with W3 total cache, didn't show my theme properly in Google Chrome. I know websites like Mashable use this plugin, so this is probably an error of my theme. I'll post an update if I solve the issue.

Using many of them and try to reduce as much as i can by coding/integrating. Too many plugins increase loading time of your blog.

You are using some plugins that I haven't tested, that's interesting. I'm especially going to have a closer look at W3 Total Cache.

By the way, I am now using a few new plugins.

- Broken Link Checker (finds all my broken links, and helps me fix them).
- Growmap Anti Spambot Plugin (instead of using Akismet)
- Socialize (instead of sharebar)

Hi Chris, thank you for the comment. I use both in all the websites I create. I received hundreds of spam messages the first time I installed Contact Form 7. Simple Captcha helped me right away and is very simple to use.

I use different things. I put have reminder fox in my thunderbird. Also, use a notepad which I have side by side with my keyboard.

Me too. What type of calendar do you use? I have been thinking about buying a huge wall calendar, one that will be visible to me all the time, no matter where I look :)

Yes, the deadline is really important. When I put something in my calendar I get things done very quickly and without much distractions. It's all in our minds :)

Swedish? Oh, no, they are our enemies :) Well, I live about ten minutes from Sweden, so I consider myself almost Swedish.

I've heard the story about the paper clip, and we like to say that it's a Norwegian invention, but I guess nobody really knows.

I know a painter, one of the best painter I have ever seen (I haven't seen that many). But he won't sell any of his paintings, because he never finishes them. There are always things on the paintings that can be better. So, he keeps working on them day after day, and never ever finish.

Slowly, but steady seems like the best way to do it. I also believe that a deadline is important.

I read your bio couple of times and I forgot, I though you were Swedish.
I read in wikipedia the story, there's a whole mess about who really invented it. Although it looks like he was first.
The story of this post is about the people I know that have some cool ideas but they don't take action. I think is all about going slowly but steady.

I'm checking the daily post again. Although I already know what I'm posting tomorrow.

Did you know that a Norwegian man, Johan Vaaler, was the inventor of the paper clip? (by the way, I am Norwegian) :)

I also use Evernote for my ideas, they usually end up in Evernote, but I have notebooks and post-it notes all over the place.

Take one step at the time is an awesome advice. I have been reading an interesting book called The Power of Less by Leo Babauta, and he’s preaching exactly what you’re saying.

Keep moving is essential. At the moment, I am writing a novel, and I have to keep writing every single day in order to keep my interest and keep the story in my head (and develop it).

By the way, I didn’t know about the daily post at wordpress. Thanks.
